Comic novel. Sally Softly is convinced that everyone is trying to trick her and she continuously plots to unmask all the ‘devious devils’ around her. Peter Softly is outraged by impolite behaviour and he decides to actively find and remove the cause of it from people’s heads. At the same time, a spree of murders begins and the citizens hysterically demand that the constabulary stop this brutal aggression.
